A really really great videogame song.
I was totally amazed at the choir in the beginning.

I am already searching for months to vocal pads like that.

First time I hear a hard melody from you =P,
Most of your other songs are deep and trancy.
But this one just blasts of energy.

I also noticed a considerable change in quality.
Before the kick with the (btw amazing) bass in it the quality was like a videogame.
Not something bad though, just something I noticed.

Yes the melody was extremely cool. Thought my PC crashed at 00:28 though lol.
When you place a sound very short after each other, the volume increases for that time. You might want to lower the volume at that moment a little.

At 00:22 a violin pad comes in. But I disagree with your choise =P.
It doesn't really cope with the other instruments.
If I were you I would go for a warm multi layered trance pad to go with it.
You might to try that out.

Overall this song rocks !!, it makes you dance !!

yet i agree with your opinion about the volume at certain points, i might lower it.

and a do not really care about your disagree about the violin (A) if you dont mind tho...
i wanna use violins more often, try to make something beautyfull with it some day :)

You two are with distance the most "rotating" music producers ever.
You make songs that are very bad, but also songs that are very good.
Never seen such a contrast before lol.

This is much better mastered and contains more obvious progression.
Kudo's for this one 0_O.

You might've done something more about the ending though, thats why it is not a 10.

How did this ever get into the top 5 ?.
It is not even near a good, well mastered song.
It seems like you haven't mastered this song at all.
The main "lead" (barely worth a lead but ok) is WAY to high pitched.
Even for "fierce game developers" (who probably would vomit at imagining this "song" in one of their games).

Then you have made an arpish synth to support the lead.
It barely contributes to the song and the sample is nearly as ugly as your lead choise.

Then you have made some percussion.
This is not bad, not good, just decent.
It could have been better if you did not terribly mess it up with bad mastering.
You should let the filter come up a bit higher.

And this practically goes on the entire 2 minutes and 19 seconds.
No single variation in sounds exept for some minor (ugly) changes in an attempt to make a melody which you miserabely failed at.
Also a loop is not that long eh ?, this is more of a song than a loop.

There were a lot of percussion changes though, so i would rather call this drum & bass. No idea what your previous genre was.

It does not even deserve a place near it.
Also, 4200 listeners and 449 downloads, im shocked 0_o.
You either have a lot of friends and a big family or you have a huge fanclub with disfunctioned minds and a very very bad taste of music.

Well, im sorry, but I would become even more sad if someone dedicated a song like this to me.

Sorry for this very harsh review, but most of it is fact based =).
I hope you become better quickly and learn how to master properly.

Lots of my best mixed songs, full of changes and variations don't even get 10 downloads and 1 favorite. thats what puzzle me.
You see, I agree with each and every point you made here. Its a quick made song, mixed to have the loudest lead as possible, with almost no variation and an arp BG that is basically following the main melody.
A friend of mine (Rabone) asked me to post this here telling me he liked it, and Timraband said he enjoyed it too.

And there it was. I knew the song would be zeroed a lot, thats why the title. But at the same time, I felt that it would be dear to some people, as it actually is, with the favorites, and some good scores/reviews.

Now, don't get me wrong. I agree with each and every point you made. But I can't ignore that, while the song isn't POPULAR, its special for the people who liked it.

Very nice song !.
This time I really write a small review cause im tired as hell atm,
And tomorrow I have my exam in science =P

As for the clipping noise at the break, thats not very difficult to remove.
Just place it on an FX and add a fruity limiter on preset "Brickwall".
After that add a Fruity Parametric control and remove the highest pitches.
(7) and (6). If that is not enough you could also lower the built in Parametric control each FX panel has.

Very nice song as always,
Perfect progression, barely any mastering issues.

hmm

Both of them are amazing,
But if i had to nitpick, i would go for the first part.
Why ?

Because the first part sounds "cleaner" and more professional.
By sidechaining it you separate the kick and the melody better.
Also the bass comes out better at the first part.

At the second part its a bit chaotic and not as professional as the first one.
I would go for the first part ;),

Hey man,

Jesus christ =P, in such a short time you already have another song for 8 minutes +. You sure have a huge motivation, which is a compliment xD.

You got an amazing collection of synths, they sound very smooth and professional.

But wow 0_o, what happens at 0:45 ??.
A melody shaped synth comes in, but it goes offbeat 0_o.
Listen to it for yourself, you kinda placed some notes to early i.m.o
Thats something you might want to change.

As always, the quality is perfect, no single distortion or clipping issues.
And the mastering is also very very good.
You could increase the volume of the reversed cymbal though.
Its rather soft when not listening thru a headphone.

Keep going man,
And DARN 0_O, make ppl vote this a bit more.
im the 4th >.<

(you can also vote 5/5 on your songs yourself, to compensate the zero bombing effects.. these bastards exist =( )

anything what happens @ 0:45 isnt off beat..

One of the many songs that is terribly underrated.
I mean, come on =S, 3.78 score ?.
This should be around 4.40 for sure.
You have to be acknowledged a bit more for your songs.
There better than you might think.
Many crap songs have higher score than this one.
